NEU Hospital is strengthening its London Liaison Office so that Turkish Cypriots living in the UK can receive the health services they need under special conditions in their homeland, in the TRNC.

 

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Press and Public Relations Office of Near East University (Near East Universty Nicosia Cyprus); Hospital Board Member Ahmet Savaşan‘s visit to London to make contacts and new agreements with the leading representatives of the tourism and health sector in order to ensure that Turkish Cypriots living in the UK can easily receive the health services they need in the TRNC under special conditions.

Within the scope of his London contacts, he first visited the TRNC London Representative Office Ahmet Savaşan‘s London Representative Oya Tuncalı and exchanged views on the new activities to be carried out by NEU Hospital in London in 2014.

During the meeting, Savaşan explained that NEU Founding Rector Dr. Suat İ. Günsel gave life to NEU Hospital in accordance with the main goal of the TRNC to become a self-sufficient state in health, primarily in order to provide its own people with health services at international standards, and said that NEU will not spare any sacrifice so that its compatriots living in the UK can benefit from these services in the best conditions alongside their families in their homeland.
